The Web Platform Installer for Visual Web Developer 2010 Express enables you to install many application templates to kick-start your projects. In addition, as the figure shows, it enables you to install many base web applications that you can use in your solution, including applications for blogging, eCommerce, content management, and more.
This installer enables you to download and install the IDE for creating web applications.
